Open to campers who are currently in JK up to Grade 5. Youth who are in Grade 6 and up should check out our Leadership Program below.

Registration is limited to 2 weeks per camper.

Our camp day runs from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Sadly, we are unable to provide any extended care beyond these hours.

Campers should bring a snack and a lunch. An afternoon snack will be provided by the camp. We also encourage campers to bring a bathing suit, change of clothes and towel each day, in case it is hot and we choose to go to the splash pad or bring out our sprinklers to play in.

Cancellation policy: We can provide full refunds to registrations that are cancelled before May 1st, and 50% refunds to those cancelled between May 1st and June 30th. There will be no refunds to registrations cancelled after July 1st.

Flexible Camper Fee

In an effort to live into our values of inclusivity and accessibility, we use a FLEXIBLE CAMP FEE.  NUC respects that families have different circumstances. We use grants and donations from the community to keep all of our fees as low as possible. Our FLEXIBLE CAMP FEE allows us to continue this practice, while also allowing people to know the true cost of camp.

This program is voluntary and confidential. Your choice will not be known beyond the camp administration and will in no way influence the experience of your camper at camp.

When registering, families select the camp registration fee from the listed options, that best suits their circumstances at this time.

Option #1: $225/week. This rate reflects the closest to true cost of a week of great camp programming

Option #2: $200/week. This rate is a partially subsidized, ideal for families with multiple campers.

Option #3: $175/week. This rate is a subsidized camp fee to make the camp experience more accessible.

Option #4: Camp Scholarship. Scholarship options vary. These funds are limited and cannot be guaranteed, but we will work towards meeting needs that are presented.

When completing the registration form, choose the registration fee that suits your family at this time. There is no pre-approval required for any of the first three options. If you wish to apply a Camp Scholarship, please contact the Camp Director.

If you have any questions about the process or the registration fees, please do not hesitate to contact our Camp Director camp email.

If you are able, please consider supporting our Camp by making an additional donation.  We rely on donations to cover our costs and to offer Camp Scholarships to families in need.  Please use Norval United Church’s regular donation channels and make a note: “For Camp”.  You will be issued a tax receipt for your donation.

Camp Guests!

Each year we are so lucky to welcome a special guest every week to support the weekly themes of our camp. Here are the guests we enjoyed last year:

Stay tuned for a list of guests this year.

Leadership Training

Developing tomorrow’s leaders is as much a part of our mission as offering an amazing summer experience for campers. We offer training and volunteer opportunities for both middle school and high school students.

Each year, we hire a team of leaders to run our summer camp and provide valuable training, mentorship and experience for our volunteers. Our Leadership Team begins in June with planning, training and setting up; they run the program through July; then finish in early August with wrap up and clean up. If you would like to be a part of this team, please check out our Camp Manager job description, and then send a cover letter and resume to our camp email.  Please note, the number of available Leadership Team positions may vary depending on the amount of funding received through the Canada Summer Jobs Grant and/or donations from the community.

Join us for an amazing summer of leadership, fun, and friendship building!  High School Volunteer Counsellors receive training in leadership, working with children and health & safety, all while building team spirit and confidence. Counsellors can earn up to 100 volunteer hours, and receive an honorarium for each week on site. We will be accepting up to 50 volunteers this year, so please make sure to complete all the steps in the application process. To apply, fill out the application found here, and send in your resume to our camp email

Leadership development for youth going into Grade 7 & 8.  This program involves training and practical application of skills, mentoring from experienced counsellors, & feedback from leadership, as well as community building and skill discovery!  We will be accepting up to 30 volunteers this year, so please make sure to complete all the steps in the application process. Youth can register for up to 2 weeks per season. Cost: $150/week*

*We recognize that costs for youth programming can be prohibitive. If you would like any financial accommodations, please let us know. This will in no way impact your application to the Jr. Volunteer program.
