Welcome to Family, Children and Youth Ministries at Norval UC! We offer programs for kids, youth and families on Sundays as well as through the week. We hope that you find opportunities here to connect, explore and grow in faith with us!

Sunday Morning Kids Church: A church experience for kids on Sunday mornings! Concurrent to our 10 a.m. worship service. Young people begin in our regular worship space before goin to their own church space for games, crafts and activities. Our Kids Church encourages kids of all ages to learn together, support each other, and create a vibrant, generous and caring community.

* We have paid babysitters onsite each Sunday morning to support families with children under the age of 3.

PRISM Teen Hangouts: This program is offered in partnership with Prism Halton for 2SLGBTQIA+ Teens and Allies. First Friday of each month: 7-9 p.m. Open to the whole community.

Jr. Youth Night (Grade 4-8): Fun, Faith & Food! For youth in Grade 4-8. Third Friday of each month: 7-8:30 p.m.

Teen Leadership Group: For Highschool Teens looking to develop further leadership skills. Opportunities for leadership are developed and guided by the group. Family Movie Nights: Free Family Movie Nights! Movies are played on the big screen in the sanctuary. Ideal for families and friends. Stuffies, blankies and wiggles are all welcome! Fourth Friday of each month: 6:30 p.m.

Mini Garden Club: Our kids programs have a small raised garden plot that we plant and maintain each year. There are also opportunities to learn about pollinator plants and healing plants. Kids and families are invited at various times of the year to help grow, nurture and learn together about God’s amazing Creation.

Stone Soup Kitchen: Each month volunteers gather to turn a collection of donated food items into 80 servings of nutritious and delicious soup for Food for Life community program. This is an ideal opportunity for families to work together for a great community gift.

Terry Fox Run: NUC enters a team in Georgetown’s Terry Fox Run each year. A great way for the whole family to participate in an important cause.

Our Summer Camps are a vibrant way that we connect with children throughout our community! Check out our NUC Summer Day Camps for information about our upcoming season and how you can be a part!

Every summer youth from Grade 7 and up are invited to join our leadership training through our summer camps program. This is a great opportunity for youth to develop skills, discover passions, and serve their community. Find more information here.
