Christmas Eve Services Moved to Online Only

After much consideration, thought, discussion and prayer we have decided to move all our Christmas Eve Services online only. You’ll see more details below. Obviously, this is not what we wanted but if we’ve learned anything in the pandemic it is that we can pivot.
We’ll gather together online. It won’t be the same but we’ll still get the feeling of Christmas Eve at Norval United. We need something familiar more than ever. Join us online to hear a familiar story, sing some familiar carols and, maybe, catch a familiar feeling.
We will also be moving our Sunday services to online-only until we get some better news. We feel it is best to be cautious at a time like this. Stay safe, folks. We can do this. We’ll make it through…
We know you’ll still feel some Christmas blessings this year. And, if you get a chance, why not call someone that you know will be alone or feeling alone this Christmas. You’ll brighten their day and yours! Every little bit of light helps.

Family PJ Christmas Celebration – 5:30pm (30 minutes) – ONLINE ONLY
Get in your comfies. Grab a hot chocolate, blankie and your favourite stuffy, and join Jen on ZOOM on Christmas Eve from 5:30-6 p.m. for our Christmas PJ Storytime. We will connect, share a couple of Christmas songs, and remember the Christmas story together. Oh! And bring your own candle so that we can all light our Christmas candles together at the end.

Outdoor Carol Sing – POSTPONED TO 2022
We’re not cancelling it, just putting it off until next year, hopefully. We encourage you to do your best to find a place to sing some carols – your car, the backyard, the shower. Let your joy be heard… distantly!
Christmas Eve Candlelight – Dec 24th – 7:00 pm ONLINE ONLY
There will be one service online at 7:00. We’ll use some items from last year’s Christmas Eve, which we think was pretty cool, mixed with some new. You can find it on Facebook or YouTube at 7:00 or recorded there for later.

Chosen Home – Dec 26th Sunday Service – 10:00 am ONLINE ONLY
Our theme in worship leading into Christmas has been “Close to Home”. We’ve all felt so unsettled all this time through the pandemic. We long for something familiar, for the way things were, for a break from all we’ve been dealing with. We long to be home. This first Sunday after Christmas, join us online on Facebook or YouTube.
