Thank you to the amazing support of our community, and wonderful camp families – Currently our camp weeks are full! We have been able to open spots as we approached the summer in past years. So, please do add your name to our waiting list. We will be in touch with you if and when spaces open up.
We are sorry, we are unable at this time to provide any extended hours of supervision for campers.
Developing tomorrow’s leaders is as much a part of our mission as offering an amazing summer experience for campers. We offer training and volunteer opportunities for both middle school and high school students.
Each year, we hire a team of 4 leaders to run our summer camp and provide valuable training, mentorship and experience for our volunteers. Our Leadership Team begins in June with planning, training and setting up; they run the program through July; then finish in early August with wrap up and clean up. If you would like to be a part of this team, please check out our job descriptions and follow the application procedure. Application deadline: March 19, 2022.
High School Volunteers
Join us for an amazing summer of leadership, fun, and friendship building! Counsellors receive training in leadership, working with children, and health & safety, all while building team spirit and confidence. Counsellors can earn up to 100 volunteer hours, and receive a stipend for each week on site. Application deadline: April 3rd, 2022.
Leadership development for youth going into Grade 7 & 8. This program involves training and practical application of skills, mentoring from experienced counsellors, & feedback from leadership. Youth can register for up to 2 weeks per season. Application deadline: April 3rd, 2022.
Over the last couple of years we have put several practices in place to ensure that we are minimizing the health risk of COVID19 for all of our staff and campers, and that we are following the guidelines set by our local Public Health Unit and the Ministry of Health. At this time, we do not yet know what these requirements will be for 2022, but assure you they will be implemented fully and carefully. We ask that in return, families be willing to also follow guidelines as set out by Public Health, especially around health screening, mask wearing and vaccine recommendations.
Please be aware, a release form regarding the risks of participating in an in-person camp program is part of the registration process this year.
We are continuing to monitor information from Public Health and will make any necessary adjustments we need to to offer a safe environment for all participants. This may include cohorting measures, limiting camper spots, social distance measures, health screening or even having to cancel all or part of our in person programming at short notice. Though we do not anticipate this latter being the case, if our program is cancelled as a result of Public Health guidelines, rest assured we will offer full registration refunds.
