Honouring Rev. Heather’s 50th Birthday: A Congregational Challenge!
Rev. Heather celebrated her 50th birthday on October 5th, and we’re inviting the congregation to celebrate in a way that strengthens our church and community!
You’re invited to take part in one (or more!) of the following in honour of her birthday:
🎁 1. “50 Gifts in Honour”
We’re challenging 50 households to make a financial donation of any size to the church. Every gift counts!
🕒 2. “50 Hours of Service”
Offer your time—at church or in the community—and help us reach 50 hours of volunteering in Rev. Heather’s honour.
💛 3. “50 Acts of Kindness”
Do something kind or caring for someone else—big or small—and let’s reach 50 acts together.
Birthday cards will be available for you to write down your donation, volunteer hours, or act of kindness. For those from our online community, when you’ve made a donation, completed some service, or carried out an act of kindness, just send an email to office@norvalunited.ca, and we will write your note down and add it to the birthday display wall. Cards will be displayed in the church as part of a special birthday wall for Rev. Heather.
Let’s celebrate her milestone with generosity, gratitude, and joy!
