Outreach for Ukraine

This week the Outreach Team made a donation of $1,500 to the Canadian Red Cross on behalf of Norval United Church to go towards their Ukraine Humanitarian Crisis Appeal. We chose to support the Canadian Red Cross at this time because the government is providing matching funds for all donations made through the Red Cross, and we felt this would allow our contribution to go further.
The invasion of Ukraine is costing precious lives and has created a humanitarian crisis as people flee to safety. We acknowledge that many here in Canada are looking for further information on ways to help, and we share the following options for your consideration:
